Update and Last Call For the Conference

Ever since I started working for Broken and Mended as the Executive Director, I have aspired to get a report/newsletter out every quarter. Well, the last quarter ended on 9/30, and I did not have one ready. The main reason is that I had been traveling all month–three out-of-state trips and one in-state event. These were all great opportunities for Broken and Mended and our mission, but I am glad I’ll be at home in October!

However, in September, we created an update that we sent to our donors (past and present), which can serve as our latest quarterly report. We will start working on our annual report soon, so it makes sense to have a shorter one this time.

This also gives me one last chance to promote our virtual conference on 10/18! Those who register will still be able to watch the sessions later if they are unable to attend live. However, attend live if you can! Whether you watch live or later, don’t miss this opportunity to hear from people still living with pain every day but inviting God to use it as ministry to other hurting people. David Heflin

Executive Director

David Heflin is the founder, former president, and current executive director for Broken and Mended. He is married to Katie and has three kids. David was a preacher for over 20 years until he stepped down to focus fully on the mission of Broken and Mended. He started Broken and Mended in 2018 after being inspired by his own battle with chronic pain to connect other hurting people to Jesus and each other. David has a B.A. in Bible from Oklahoma Christian University and a Master of Arts in Religion from Azusa Pacific University. He resides in Woodward, OK.
